Trick or treat! This time of year has come. No, not Christmas yet (even though there are plenty of gifts to obtain if you participate in our Halloween events). We are talking about Halloween! Zombies are crawling in and pumpkins are being harvested to prepare the best pumpkin soup you'll ever taste!

 

 

Please find below the details of the festivities!

 

 

Zombie Invasion! [from 10/28 to 10/31 and from 11/04 to 11/18]

 

 

Two times per day, Halloween Zombies will replace almost all monsters on the PvP maps Proelium (1-15), Cantabilian (20-30) and D-Water (31-80) to try to take over the battlefields.

 

 

A system message will appear 5 minutes before the invasion starts and another one will be displayed 5 minutes before the invasion ends.

 

 

/!\ Please note that time for invasion will be shifted based on the daylight saving time. /!\

 

 

Zombie Invasion n°1: 00:00 - 02:00 (CET) | 16:00 - 18:00 (PST)

 

 

Zombie Invasion n°2: 10:00 - 12:00 (CET) | 02:00 - 04:00 (PST)

 

 

Killing zombies will not only help save the wildlife that inhabits the battlefields, it will also yield you some good rewards so go kill them all! But remember that dead zombies cannot die and they might put a fight...

 

 

Note:

1. Zombies in 1-15 and 20-30 PvP will drop a Halloween Event Box (common)and zombies in 31-80 PvP will drop a Halloween Event Box (rare).
2. The Halloween Event Box (common) contains various low grade lapis while the Halloween Event Box (rare) contains various high grade lapis (level 8 lapis and mechanic lapis among others).

The drop rate of Halloween boxes from zombies is set to 10% by default.

 

 

 

Altar Conquest! [from 10/28 to 10/31 and from 11/04 to 11/18]

 

 

However, you have a NEW way to increase that base drop rate by taking altars available on the map where the zombie invasion is taking place. For every altar you take, you increase the drop rate on zombies by 2%. Taking altars has never been so important!

1. In Proelium (1-15), you have a 10% base drop rate on zombies and can get a 12% drop rate if you take the Proelium Altar.
2. In Cantabilian (20-30), you have a 10% base drop rate on zombies and can get a 12% drop rate if you take the Cantabilian Altar.
3. In D-Water (31-80), you have a 10% base drop rate on zombies and can get a drop rate of up to 24% if you take all 7 altars! (2% drop rate increase per altar taken by your faction).

A special buff will appear when you destroy altars and that the drop rate from zombies is increased (it could be that the buff is sometimes not displayed - however it will still be active and will increase your drop rates on zombies).

 

 

 

 

 

Please note that the 2% drop rate increase applies only for zombies and their chance at dropping a Halloween Mystery Box. Only the altar located on the PvP map you are on can give you a boost. For example, destroying altars in D-Water will not increase the drop rate of Halloween Boxes in Proelium or Cantabilian.

 

 

Yummy Pumpkin Hunt! [from 10/28 to 10/31 and from 11/04 to 11/18]

 

 

What drives zombies to the battlefields? Probably those yummy pumpkins that have been harvested for this special occasion. They drive everyone crazy! Every four hours, a Pumpkin will appear in Proelium (1-15), Cantabilian (20-30) and D-Water (31-80) (so 3 pumpkins every four hours for the server). An appropriate system message will notify you when pumpkins are in the place!

 

 

 

 

What is so special about them? They are guaranteed to give you a [SP] Halloween Box (common) in Proelium/Cantabilian and a [SP] Halloween Box (rare) in D-Water!

 

 

Note:

1. [SP] Halloween Box (common) can provide rarer lapis (compared to the Halloween Box (common)) such as Swift Lapis Lv1, Sonic Lapis Lv2 or even Mechanic Lapis Lv1 and Lv2.
2. [SP] Halloween Box (rare) can provide the best lapis of the game (level 8 lapis, dual lapis level 6, accessory lapis level 2, absorption lapis level 8 and 9) and even level 80 weapons!

Quest for more Halloween Boxes!: [from 10/28 to 10/31 and from 11/04 to 11/18]

 

 

 

Go to Proelium (PvP 1-15) and talk to Lapoon (Alliance of Light) or Hashi (Union of Fury) in your respective camp to have access to an exclusive quest. It consists in killing the Halloween Pumpkin that appears on the map every four hours, and you will automatically complete the quest to receive a Halloween Pumpkin Box.

 

 

Note that this quest can be completed as a party/raid quest: Everyone having the quest in their quest journal and close enough from the player smashing the pumpkin will complete the quest and get the reward! So gather your friends and hunt down these pumpkins together to maximize your rewards!

 

 

Upon completion of the quest, you will receive a Halloween Pumpkin Box (that can contain rare lapis such as Swift Lapis Lv1, Sonic Lapis Lv2 and even Mechanic Lapis Lv1 and Lv2!)

 

 

Update 11/04: From 11/04 (after the maintenance) until 11/18, an exclusive Halloween quest for level 31-80 players is available in D-Water. Completing the quest will grant you a Halloween Pumpkin Box that can contain level 80 weapons or rare lapis such as level 8 lapis, dual lapis level 6, accessory lapis level 2, absorption lapis level 8 and 9, triple lapis and mechanic lapis level 2. Good luck with the quest!

 

 

 

 

Zombies invading Teos: [from 11/01 to 11/03]

 

 

Zombies are restless and are going to invade every nook and cranny of Teos while they are on their week-end. Don't expect to be safe, the zombie invasion is rampant and they are attracted by every little pumpkin they smell.

 

 

Pumpkins will be placed at random times on the following maps:

1. Ereumana
2. Reikeuseu
3. Willieoseu
4. Keuraijen
5. Proelium
6. Cantabilian
7. Apulune
8. Iris
9. Kanos Illium
10. Deep Desert 1

Zombies will of course try to follow pumpkins, but as they are dead, their sense of smell is a bit off. Don't be surprised if you also see some wandering zombies on the following maps:

1. Ereumana
2. Reikeuseu
3. Willieoseu
4. Keuraijen
5. Proelium
6. Cantabilian
7. Kanos Illium
8. Deep Desert 1

Note:

1. When Zombies and Pumpkins are sighted, a system message will be displayed in game (stating the kind of monsters spotted and their map location).
2. Level 15 and 30 Pumpkins will drop a [SP] Halloween Box (common) while level 80 will drop a [SP] Halloween Box (rare).
3. Level 15 and 30 Zombies may have a chance to drop a Halloween Event Box (common) while level 80 zombies may have a chance to drop aHalloween Event Box (rare).

Halloween Decorations: [from 10/28 to 11/18]

 

 

 

What would be Halloween without proper decorations? For this special occasion, Apulune, Iris and the Auction House have been covered with pumpkins. If you see one or two moving, that may not be only your imagination!
